When will Providence and the CBOCs have the vaccine available?
Dear Veteran,
The VA Providence Healthcare system recently received our initial supply of COVID-19 vaccine, as part of VA’s phased distribution plan and in accordance with CDC guidance.
Care teams will contact you (enrolled Veteran) to arrange for the vaccination. Veterans do not need to call for an appointment to receive the vaccination. The goal is to offer free COVID-19 vaccination to all enrolled Veterans and staff who want it when enough supply is available.
