COVID-19 Convalescence Program Flu Vaccine Drive Thru

Dear Veteran:
The flu season is upon us and we are especially concerned given your recent COVID-19 illness. If you received your flu vaccine during our October drive thru, this message is to remind you to come back during the week of November 16-19, 2020 from 8:00 a.m-3:00 p.m. so we can draw your blood to check status of your immune system. The drive thru will be held at Audie L. Murphy hospital located at 7400 Merton Minter. You may enter through the Spinal Cord side entrance (Please see map attached).
If you have not received your flu vaccine yet, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) will also be hosting a flu vaccine clinic drive thru during the week of November 16-19, 2020 from 8:00 a.m-3:00 p.m.
We are learning COVID-19 as many ways of affecting those who suffered from it. STVHCS COVID-19 Convalescence Program is here to support you. If you have not been contacted by program staff for enrollment, expect a phone call in the future to ensure close follow-up. The COVID-19 Convalescence Program contact number is (210) 616-8326.
It is very important for you to receive a flu vaccine early in the season, so your immune system can be ready to fight for you as needed.
