The VISN 5 MIRECC’s mission is to support and enhance the recovery and community functioning of Veterans with mental health disorders. In keeping with that mission, we have partnered with the VA Mental Health Lived Experience (MHLE) Community of Practice to support VA staff with MHLE and the VA as a welcoming, stigma-free organization.

In this Straight from the Investigator article, Dr. Elizabeth Klingaman describes the guidelines she developed for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia for Veterans with psychosis. She outlines her next steps to see if using these guidelines will help improve sleep and functioning and have any longer-term benefits for Veterans living with psychosis and insomnia.
