Announcing new episodes of our web-based series to empower and engage military and Veteran caregivers nationwide! In partnership with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, VA Caregiver Support Program and the Wounded Warrior Project, Caregiver Community Connection (C3) highlights community resources available to caregivers while also providing interactive content and exclusive opportunities. Our weekly episodes focus on different themes such as practicing self-care at home, nutrition demos, resources for mental health, activities to do with your family, financial wellness, and more!

On July 1st, Lisa Pape, Deputy Chief Patient Care Services Officer, Care Management and Social Work at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and members of the VA’s Caregiver Support Program will join us to share, demonstrate, and answer questions regarding virtual resources currently available to support caregivers during COVID-19. VA’s Caregiver Support Program (CSP) offers a wide-array of services to family members and loved ones who care for Veterans, including on-line courses, face-to-face classes, telephone support, and peer support. Every VA medical center has a Caregiver Support Coordinator (CSC) who provides clinical support and assists with information and referrals to these programs. Some of the programs that will be highlighted include: Annie Caregiver Text Program, VA’s Caregiver Support Line and Building Better Caregivers^TM.
