REMINDER: COVID-19 Testing for Arkansas Veterans
Veterans Health Administration sent this bulletin at 06/23/2020 09:55 AM EDTVeterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) is partnering with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) to conduct a drive-thru COVID-19 testing for Arkansas Veterans and their families/caregivers. The drive-thru testing will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the parking garage at 1100 N. College Avenue Fayetteville, AR 72703. Signs and individuals will be on site to help vehicles with directions.
Those who test negative for COVID-19 will receive a letter in the mail. If an individual test positive someone from ADH will call with those results. It will take 3-5 days for test results to be returned.
Veterans and their families/caregivers will complete paperwork and then self-swab their nasal passages. No identification is necessary. A current drivers license can be used to help complete the paperwork.
There is no fee for testing. VHSO wants you to know that we are trying to do our part and help stop the spread of COVID-19. Safety is the priority at VHSO. We hope to see you on June 27!
