VA COVID-19 Screening Tool

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System is using a digital tool to help protect Veterans at VA health facilities.

Veterans, please TEXT the word SCREEN to 53079 using your smartphone. Then click on the link to answer the questions provided.

Veterans receiving a “Blue” screening result may proceed to the SAVAHCS Veterans screening station for a temperature check prior to entering the hospital
- Additional questions may be asked at the screening stations
Veterans receiving a “Grey” screening result and on the SAVAHCS campus; please proceed to the SAVAHCS Emergency Department screening station for further clinical evaluation
Veterans receiving a “Grey” screening result who are not on the SAVAHCS campus should call the VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Network (VISN 22) Nurse Advice Line at 1 (877) 252-4866
