COVID-19 antibody testing

We sincerely thank you for your time and patience during the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand there is much hope and interest in COVID-19 antibody testing.
Please know that we are working hard to provide you with the best health care possible during such uncertain times. Our goal is to offer you testing that is high-quality, valid, reliable and approved in order to provide you with results that convey the best information to guide clinical care. Therefore, we are in the process of bringing COVID-19 antibody testing to VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) in the near future and will be excited to offer you this service when we are confident that the test will give us all the information needed.
Presently, we are not supporting our provider teams to order this test from outside sites—and due to the unknown quality of testing in the community—we will not be providing funding nor reimbursement for testing performed in the community. We truly appreciate your interest in staying healthy and will keep you informed about when COVID-19 antibody testing becomes available through VA ECHCS laboratory testing services.
