CAVHS is looking out for your health and protection by putting additional protective measures into place to help stem the spread of coronavirus -- COVID-19 -- beginning Tuesday morning, 3/17/2020.
Everyone coming to a CAVHS facility will be screened before entry.
Visitation will be by exception only and limited to immediate family or designated caregiver.
No one under 16 years of age will be permitted into a CAVHS facility.
All visitors are reminded to wash hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after visitation.
If you are visiting a CBOC -- you will be screened at the entrance to the clinic. Some clinics will have only one entrance open.
If you are visiting Fort Roots in North Little Rock -- Patients, visitors and employees arriving via Pershing Ave., will be directed through the four-lane screening station in the north parking lot of building 170, accessed off of Cypress Street. Active screening on Hill Road leading to the back gate will be limited to employees only. The gate will be open to exit traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Pershing Ave./Cypress Street screening point will operate 24/7 beginning Tuesday, 3/17/2020.
If you are visiting the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock -- Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., all Veterans, visitors and employees will be actively screened at the Green Atrium entrance, Green Atrium Emergency Department entrance, and Red Atrium (south) entrance. After hours and weekend active screening will be at the Green Atrium Emergency Department entrance; all other entrances will be closed.
