What began as an initiative to provide benefits for service members returning from World War II, the GI Bill has evolved since it was established June 22,1944. Over the last 78 years, 25 million Veterans, service members and their families have used various GI Bill programs, such as VET TEC, to pursue education and training, find meaningful employment, and to change the trajectory of their families’ economic mobility for generations to come.
This year, we celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the GI Bill. We are reminded of its impact and are thankful for the opportunity to continue our longstanding tradition of serving you and thank you for service to our Nation.
