Acting Executive Director, Education Service, Veterans Benefits Administration Announcement

Ms. Charmain Bogue, Executive Director, Education Service, Veterans Benefits Administration has resigned from federal service effective January 15, 2022 to focus on her family.  Ms. Mary Glenn, Deputy Executive Director, Medical Disability Examinations Office (MDEO), Veterans Benefits Administration will lead Education Service as the Acting Director in the interim while the process to select a permanent Executive Director is completed.  Ms. Glenn is a seasoned Senior Leader who is capable and prepared to lead Education Service. She has served as the Deputy Executive Director over Contract Medical Disability Examinations since October 2016. In this role, Ms. Glenn manages a multi-billion dollar budget of a high-visibility federal program and provides leadership and oversight for significant policy matters and program operations. Current Education Service programs and initiatives will not be negatively impacted by this transition.
