CDFI Fund Update: Revised 2018 NMTC Paper Application & FAQ Document Released

Update for CY 2018 NMTC Program Applicants

The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) has posted on its website a revised Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document and a revised ‘paper application’ related to the calendar year (CY) 2018 New Markets Tax Credit Program (NMTC Program) application round.  The updates to these documents  is being provided in response to specific questions raised during the two conference calls hosted on May 16 and 17, 2018, as well as via Help Desk phone calls, emails, and AMIS Service Requests. The revised FAQs document also includes a list of the updates made to the paper application.

Revised guidance information is highlighted in yellow in the updated FAQs document and includes clarification of the proposed project information that should be detailed in Application Question 17 versus in Table A5, as well as reporting of proposed fee structures in Table D2.

The updated documents can be found on the CDFI Fund’s website at www.cdfifund.gov/nmtc under How to Apply Step 2: Apply.
