Temporary Lapse in Funding, February 2026

Due to a lapse in appropriations, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will be unable to issue payments to Employment Networks (EN) and cost reimbursement to State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies.

The Ticket Program Manager (TPM), on behalf of SSA, will continue to review payment requests during this time but will not be able to submit any to the Treasury Department for payment.

The Ticket Portal will remain accessible throughout the lapse in appropriations.

Additionally, all suitability processing has been suspended during the lapse in appropriations. Service providers may submit suitability requests; however, they will be on hold until the Government reopens.

TPM will remain available to respond to technical questions from ENs via ENService@ssa.gov. Please note that the State VR agency Help Desk is closed.
