Join us on November 19 for our next Work Incentive Seminar Event (WISE) webinar!
This month, our presentation team will share resources from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Social Security that can help veterans make the transition to work and find opportunities and success while looking for jobs.
Specifically, the webinar will cover:
- The intersection of Veterans Affairs and Social Security benefit programs
- Tips for transitioning to a civilian career
- How Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program service providers can help eligible veterans understand how work will impact their benefits.
What can you do to help?
WISE webinars highlight the supports and services you offer. Encourage your Ticketholders, including eligible veterans, their friends and families, along with organizations and employers in your community to join this month’s webinar to learn more about the Ticket Program and Social Security’s resources and supports for workplace success. You can:
- Send emails or call your colleagues to help promote the webinar.
- Include the webinar information on your website or in your newsletter! If you’re interested, we can provide sample messaging. Please email TTWwebinars@ssa.gov for more information.
Share the event on your social media profiles! You can share our posts on Facebook or X or post the messaging we’ve included below with the attached picture. Be sure you’re following us so you’re able to tag us by choosing the tag option when writing the post!
