Announcement: Redesigned Choose Work for Beneficiaries Website

Dear Ticket to Work service provider,

We wanted to make you aware of the upcoming launch of a redesigned Ticket to Work beneficiary website at www.choosework.net, which will be going live in the next few weeks.

Features of the redesigned website include:

  • A mobile responsive design which allows the site to work well on smart phones and tablets
  • The Path to Work, which lays out the journey to financial independence, step by step based on the content from the “Your Journey to Financial Independence” email program
  • Self paced Ticket Tutorials that provide an on-demand alternative to monthly Ticket to Work webinars
  • An enhanced Find Help tool with a simplified search interface that lets users filter results in real time
  • A “Help Me Choose” wizard that guides a user through a series of questions to assess their readiness for the Ticket to Work program and what service providers would be most appropriate for them
  • A new, enhanced comment system for the Choose Work blog
  • A What’s New widget on the menu bar that provides at-a-glance updates from the Choose Work blog, Facebook and Twitter
  • A new “Find a Job” section that plugs beneficiaries into employment opportunities in the federal government, the federal government contracting space, and the private sector
  • Enhanced Success Story content that integrates text, audio and video into one page

Of particular note for you as service providers is the “Help Me Choose” wizard. This tool asks a series of questions to filter results from the Find Help tool so that the beneficiary has a tailored list of service providers. The questions are based on feedback from the Tiger Team that met last summer to help develop it, and will be continually refined as we get more feedback on its use.

The tool uses several parts of your database entry in the Find Help tool for filtering, including the disabilities served, presence of a benefits counselor on staff, and experience with youth-in-transition, self employment, or veterans, as reported by your Annual Performance Outcome Report data. For your organization to be correctly displayed in search results, it is essential that your information is accurate and up-to-date. Please take a few minutes to review your information in the Find Help Tool at www.choosework.net/findhelp. You can review your EN Profile data, if available, here: http://www.chooseworkttw.net/enreport/jsp/ensearch.jsp. If you find any errors or have any corrections or updates, please contact OSM at ENOperations@yourtickettowork.com to request an update.

After the site launches, we look forward to your feedback on the new design!
