Starting a small business is an extremely rewarding path for a service member, veteran, or military spouse. The SBA is here to help members of the military community evaluate that path, take their first steps, and navigate any questions or obstacles that may follow.  Time, effort, and grit – combined with community support and U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) resources – propel members of the military community to launch and maintain profitable businesses. The endeavors of business ownership are lifechanging for owners and those around them, from family members and community members to patrons.

Join SBA’s Iowa District Office on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Noon (CST) as we celebrate National Veterans Small Business Week with a webinar entitled, “Celebration of Iowa Veteran Businesses.”

Jo Eckert, Branch Manager, Iowa SBA, will be joined by Nick Ford, Managing Partner, Top RANK, LLC., and recipient of the 2022 SBA Veteran Impact Award, and Jathan Chicoine, Bison Farmer & Home Base Iowa Program Manager for a fireside chat surrounding their driving force toward entrepreneurship and how their military experience has assisted them in their business journey.
