The Central Region Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is excited to announce that SBDC consultant Ahmed Mohidin is working with an ownership team of East African Americans in the development of the Capital Multicultural Mall.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday, June 23, 2022 to celebrate the first phase of the mall's opening which is an event center named Capital Events. The facility’s first official event was a marriage celebration held the following day.
Future plans for the remaining space include construction to accommodate multicultural vendors and shops. The mall is located at 3123 Roosevelt Road, St. Cloud, MN.
The Small Business Development Center is a no‐cost technical assistance provider that is prepared to assist business owners and those interested in starting a business with seeking capital, business plan development, marketing, succession planning and many other aspects of running a business.

Made in America.gov provides relevant market intelligence to those interested in doing business with the U.S. government. It is designed to promote transparency in federal procurement by enabling manufacturers and other interested parties to easily identify opportunities by reviewing waivers to Made in America laws. The Made in America Office (MIAO) will ensure that any waivers from Made in America laws are applied clearly, consistently, and transparently across federal agencies.
