GSA's Small Business Works - A Virtual Training & Matchmaking Event

2 day Training Event - July 26-27th

11:00am EST

Join to learn about upcoming federal contracting opportunities and doing business with GSA, while expanding your network at the GSA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization’s National Small Business Training and Matchmaking event.

The two-day virtual event will provide training opportunities for the small business community and Federal acquisition workforce.

Day One: Educational Session focuses on the Small Business Community.

Day Two: Educational Sessions are for Federal wide Acquisition Workforce Professionals only

Introduction to SBA's 8a Program

When: Monday, July 25, 9:00am-11:00am

The 8(a) program is a robust nine-year program created to help firms owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Businesses that participate in the program receive training and technical assistance designed to strengthen their ability to compete effectively in the American economy. Join us to learn about program benefits and eligibility requirements. Q&A to follow presentation. Presented by the Maine & Delaware SBA District Offices.

The NH Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and NH Tech Alliance provide FREE Cybersecurity Reviews

Small and medium sized businesses have a high risk of falling victim to a cybersecurity attack. They often have limited resources to protect themselves. 

The Cybersecurity Review program offers a high-level risk assessment with a cybersecurity expert, plus advising and virtual training to businesses with up to 500 employees. 

Businesses in NH can meet with a cybersecurity expert and receive a customized action plan to start protecting your organization immediately.

Bring Back the Trades, Inc

A New Hampshire non profit organization helping to fund scholarships for trade school students.

The primary mission is to equip students who are pursuing post-secondary education to acquire the knowledge of a professional trade through community engagement and education. We are dedicated to promoting and educating the public on the need for skilled trades professionals.

To implement our mission, Bring Back the Trades, Inc. will collaborate with local educators, community leaders and local trades businesses to change the perception of the trades within the educational system, and we will award scholarships to qualified students who are pursuing post-secondary education in a professional trade.
