How is this different from general business consulting?

Agriculture and related businesses differ from conventional business models due to dependence on weather, seasonality, market pricing, accounting, product knowledge, consumer demands, traditional or cultural and family practices. Yet, agriculture must still function as a business that requires the services SBDCs offer to non-ag clients. The collective expertise and industry relationships that the AG CoE offers assist a wide variety of traditional and ag-related enterprises. The Ag CoE specialists work with local SBDCs to best assist clients in all facets of business consulting.
