Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with Partners on May 14

SBA's Great Lakes Regional Administrator Geri Sanchez Aglipay will be the keynote speaker at the 1st Annual AAPI Small Business Expo on May 14, 2022.

With this first-ever event, the goal is to bring businesses, nonprofit organizations, state and government agencies, and the community together to support one another, and also focus on economic development and growth. Emceeing the event is KARE TV's New Anchor, Gia Vang. Also speaking are Hmong Chamber's Board Chair, John Yang, Chinese Chamber's Executive Director, Jin Chen, Metro State's President, Ginny Arthur and WomenVenture's CEO, LeeAnn Rasachak, among others.

This event is an example of SBA's Equity Action Plan to reach traditionally underserved communities and advance inclusion and an inclusive recovery in their local communities to build wealth and strengthen economic prosperity for all.

Hosted by the Hmong Chamber of Commerce and supported by multiple organizations, all are invited to join this event at Metro State University in St. Paul, Minn.  

The event will feature a job fair, speakers, exhibitors, and business training workshops, as well as panel discussions with small business owners and community leaders, including:
