Busy Baby LLC is SBA’s Minnesota Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year
At the age of 40, Army Veteran Beth Fynbo had her first child and came up with an idea for a product to solve a problem all new parents have, a silicone placemat to keep baby's toys in place. The patented design allows caregivers to suction the mat to a smooth surface and use the tether system to attach baby's favorite toys, keeping them within arms' reach and off the ground.
Fynbo has benefited from SBA’s programs and services through her relationships with the Small Business Development Center, which provided technical assistance, Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, which provided funding and technical assistance, and SCORE, which helped with the patents and trademarks needed to protect her investment.
