Join the FDIC, SBA, and USDA for 'Path to Prosperity' Conference ~ April 6th

Path to Prosperity Conference

 April 6, 2022, from 12:30 -5:00pm

The no-cost series will feature experts in the banking and lending industry, community partners and stakeholders. This series will provide useful information, tools, and resources for small businesses and individuals an opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions intended to create economic progress. This virtual event will include panel discussions comprised of economic and lending
experts. There will be facilitated conversations, identifying challenges, sharing best practices, and innovative solutions to accessing capital. Presenters will share how financial institutions, non-profits and community-based organizations can encourage the development of a “Path to Prosperity” by incentivizing unbanked and under-banked small businesses individuals to establish
a sustainable relationship with an insured financial institution.

The federal agencies will highlight resources available including FDIC’s “Money
Smart Financial Education Program”, SBA’s Capital, Contracting, and Technical Assistance Programs and USDA’s guaranteed Rural Business Loan Programs.

The goals are:
• Incentivize unbanked and under-banked small business owners and individuals to establish a
sustainable relationship with an insured financial institution
• Expand technical assistance and financial education for small business owners and individuals to
improve their bankability, and
• Increase the number of SBA certified lenders for capital access for minority-owned businesses.

SBA to host a Small Business Roundtable Event  

 

Great Hall at Wolfeboro Town Hall, Wolfeboro 

Tuesday, April 12th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00p.m.

 NH Small Businesses This event will include a small business discussion and a variety of resources to assist NH small businesses in making connections with local lenders and business resources.

WHAT:            Participants will hear about local resources for small business owners starting, growing, or expanding a small business. Small business owners will learn about counseling and funding options and participate in networking with other entrepreneurs.

WHO:              U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) NH Office is hosting this event.  Small business resources will include the SBA NH District office, Wentworth Economic Development Corp. (WEDCO), NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA), NH Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC),Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce, NH Small Business Development Center (NH SBDC), Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC), and local lenders.

 WHEN:           Tuesday, April 12th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00p.m.
