SBA Celebrates Women's History Month

Whether you're a maker or creator, involved in tech, or pursuing your passion delivering a product or service, SBA can help entrepreneurs start and grow. In celebration of Women's History Month, we welcome everyone to join our virtual Entrepreneurship webinars. We'll start on launching a business then discuss building a business that is credit ready with a bonus webinar focused on encore entrepreneurs.

This program is designed for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and to understand the steps to building a business that is credit-ready. In this two-module interactive course, join the U.S. Small Business Administration to discuss:

    • Talents that drive entrepreneurship
    • Steps to start a business
  • How and Where to find additional small business support and educational resources

Part 2: Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

  • Essentials of becoming credit-ready
  • Various financing options
  • Basic requirements for borrowing money

Business Information Session for Encore Entrepreneurs, Starting a Business at Fifty Plus

Encore Entrepreneurship:  Funding Options for your Small Business

With one in four individuals ages 44 to 70 interested in becoming entrepreneurs, and 63 percent of Americans planning to work during retirement, small business ownership is a good option.  In this one-hour introductory course, join the U.S. Small Business Administration to help answer one of the most asked questions when starting a new business “where do I get funding?”
