The deadline has come and gone for National Small Business Week nominations. However, submissions for local awards will continue to be accepted through 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 8th.

If you or someone you know has an inspiring small business success story to tell or maybe they've played a supporting role in strengthening small business, nominate them for one of our local awards. 

Completed packages MUST BE submitted via the San Antonio District Box account. Submission any other way, including by email or hard copy, will not be accepted. All guidelines, submission link and required forms can be found below.

2022 District Office Award Categories:

  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Family-Owned Business of the Year
  • Minority Small Business of the Year
  • Veteran Owned Business of the Year
  • Women Owned Business of the Year
  • Small Business Champion of the Year
  • Small Business Media Advocate of the Year

Nomination packages must include:

  1. A completed SBA Background Form 3300. For “team” nominations, a background form is required for each team member
  2.  A completed SBA Form 3315 will be used for ALL District Office Awards above
  3. An original 8” x 10” or 5” x 7” photo of the nominee or a digital photo – at least 300 dpi is required; photocopies are not acceptable. For “team” nominations, a photo of each nominee or group photo is acceptable.
  4. Additional supporting documentation deemed significant by the nominator, including news clips, letters of recommendation, nomination letter (if not self-nominated), and other evidence of the appropriateness of the nomination. Supporting documentation may not exceed 10 pages. Videos will not be considered.
