OCTOBER IS NATIONAL WOMEN'S SMALL BUSINESS MONTH

In celebration of this month, NWBC recognizes all the small women-owned businesses that continue to strengthen our communities and drive our economy. NWBC will be sharing upcoming Council announcements and opportunities to help advance women’s business enterprise.

The National Women's Business Council (NWBC) is hosting a public meeting on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM EDT.
This online meeting will allow the Council to provide an update on its latest initiatives and policy development. Each of the Council's subcommittees (Access to Capital & Opportunity, Women in S.T.E.M., and Rural Women's Entrepreneurship) will present their priorities and projects before the full body and the public.
Supplementary Information
NWBC strongly encourages that public comments and questions be submitted in advance by October 19th. Individuals can provide comments when registering on the Eventbrite or individuals may also email info@nwbc.gov with the subject line - "[Name/Organization] Comment for 10/25/21 Public Meeting." NWBC staff will read the first five submitted statements during the final 20 minutes of the program.
During the live event, attendees will be in listen-only mode and may submit additional questions via the Q&A feature. This meeting will be streamed using Microsoft Teams.
