Sep 22 | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm | CDT | Webinar | Register Now

Whether you’re a small business owner, a sole proprietor or contract worker, the cooperative model might be a good fit for you. Cooperatives offer flexible ownership models that allow more people to own a stake in their workplace. Cooperative models also make space for more democratic decision making so that everyone has a voice in how things run. Worker co-ops are businesses that are owned by their employees. These enterprises center the needs and expertise of the people who put their labor and love into the work each day. Worker-owners have the opportunity to emerge as workplace and community leaders and build wealth by growing equity in the business. Worker co-ops are an essential tool to creating a more just economy. Drew will explain the basics of the cooperative model and cooperative principles and the practical ways that these core values operate in the context of worker-ownership.
