September 1 Virtual Workshop: Selling to the Federal Government

Image of a small business next to a government building with a contract in between and the text "How to Do Business with the Federal Government."

Small business contractors continue to play an important role in helping federal agencies respond during the COVID-19 pandemic. Opportunities remain available for small businesses to bid on contracts and contribute to the mission of agencies.

Join us for an overview of how to sell to the federal government, to include SBA programs and certifications to assist your small business.

This month will include a focus on small business contracting opportunities in the private sector, as we welcome guest presenter Ellen Pimental, Supplier Management Program Coordinator with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ).  Ms. Pimental will share information and resources for doing business with the health care company and how to participate in the Supplier Diversity program.  BCBSAZ is committed to developing mutually beneficial relationships with small, minority-owned, women-owned, disadvantaged, and veteran-owned business enterprises. The Supplier Diversity program reflects the desire to create opportunity for suppliers to market their goods and services to the organization.
