SBA Reaches 10,000 Entities Milestone Awarding $7.5 Billion in Shuttered Venue Operators Grants

Today, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) reached a new milestone of successfully awarding over $7.5 billion in Shuttered Venue Operators Grants (SVOGs) to more than 10,000 hard-hit live entertainment small businesses, nonprofits, and venues. The SVOG program is designed to assist in getting the nation’s cultural institutions, which are critical to the economy and were among the first to shutter, back on track.  For the full Press Release click below.

The most current data, Shuttered Venue Operators Grantees - Dataset - U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) | Open Data lists the 130 Connecticut entities that have received $97,872,025. If you add the New Haven Shubert award of $2,530,377 the Connecticut total exceeds $100.4 million.
