Description: The way consumers shop and navigate online is changing constantly, and so are the management tools and strategies.  Business to Consumer (B2C) strategies, platforms, and software are the heaving lifting required for success in the B2C marketplace.  Your product or service is the easy part – not the other way around!

B2C marketing is rapidly growing and creating opportunities for many entrepreneurs, but it is plagued with misinformation, half-truths, and outdated practices and consultants.  Because B2C relies heavily on computer competency, the strategy and execution are often outsourced or left to a computer staff – often a bad move.

As the owner and strategic thinker of your company, you need to fully understand and execute the B2C strategies that make sense for your brand.  In this 3 hour boot camp-style workshop, you’ll learn about:

  • The best practices to being a successful B2C marketer
  • Best web platforms and what is “software as a service” (and why it matters)
  • Most commonly used apps that run on the back end of a website and what they do

Presenter Andrés Gallegos is President and CEO of Z-CoiL® Footwear.  He originally wrote the business plan in college, then later started the company in 1995 in Albuquerque with his father, Al Gallegos, the inventor of the conical coil shoe.  Andrés grew the business from a few truck car sales to over 500 stores and distributors in 2005.  He initially raised $1 million in a private offering mostly to family and friends, then later had the idea of trading shoes for stock and raised another $5 million in a public offering.  He directed the company from initial patents to a nationwide franchise plan and over 65 employees at the headquarters.  Then Andrés led the company through the retail downturn to online sales, which are now 75% of the company’s revenue. He was named the NM SBA Small Business Man of the Year in 2006.
