Don't miss these weekly RRF information sessions!

RRF

The SBA St. Louis District Office continues to host virtual information sessions  on the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF). The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) became law on March 11, 2021 and established the RRF. The ARPA appropriated $28.6 billion for RRF, authorizing SBA to award funds, not loans.

The weekly sessions cover eligibility, use of funds, how to apply, application deadlines and how other SBA relief funds impact RRF funding.

The sessions are open to all interested parties, particularly eligible restaurant or food industry owners, as well as organizations that assist restaurants and the food industry.

Attendees will hear from the St. Louis District staff, including District Director Maureen Brinkley.

8(a) Business Development Program

Have you ever wondered what it takes to do business with the federal government? Join SBA St. Louis Business Opportunity Specialist Gary Alexander Tuesday, May 18 at 10 a.m. to learn how government contracting works and how the 8(a) Business Development Program can boost your business.

The US government is the LARGEST single purchaser of goods and services in the world. Now is a great time for small businesses to explore ways to expand into new markets. The federal market place may be a good fit for your business.

This workshop is for small businesses that have been in business for at least two years and have goods or services to sell to the federal government. (Occasional exceptions are made to the two-year rule on an individual basis.)

All SBA programs and services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Gary Alexander, 314-539-6612 or via email at gary.alexander@sba.gov.
