SBA Relief Program Updates

Paycheck Protection Program

Paycheck protection program, PPP

After serving more than 8 million small businesses, general funding for the Paycheck Protection Program  (PPP) has been fully committed. The SBA will continue funding outstanding approved PPP applications, but new qualifying applications will only be funded through a set-aside for Community Financial Institutions (CFIs), including Certified Development Companies (CDCs), Microlenders, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs). The PPP program will end when these funds are fully committed or on May 31, whichever comes first.

Please note that not all institutions listed are currently participating in PPP.

Restaurant Revitalization Fund

RRF

The SBA received more than 186,000 Restaurant Revitalization Fund applications as of May 4.

All eligible businesses can apply now. The SBA will prioritize funding of RRF applications from small businesses owned and controlled by women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals for the first 21 days of the program. Applications will then be funded on a first-come, first serve basis.
