Guarantee Your Work and Win Contracts with Surety Bonding

SBA Surety Bond Guarantee Program Information Session

Surety bonds help small businesses win contracts by providing the customer with a guarantee that the work will be completed. Many public and private contracts require surety bonds, which are offered by surety companies.

The SBA guarantees surety bonds for certain surety companies, which allows the companies to offer surety bonds to small businesses that might not meet the criteria for other sureties.

Get your bonding questions answered and get prepared for future projects as the economy recovers. Join SBA's Office of Surety Guarantees and the Wisconsin Procurement Institute next week!

May 4 Deadline Approaching to Apply for Storm-related Disaster Assistance for Northern Wisconsin Counties

Wisconsin businesses and residents affected by severe storms and flooding on June 28 through July 1, 2020 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration through May 4, 2021.

SBA made the loans available in response to a letter from Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Aug. 3, requesting a disaster declaration by the SBA.  The declaration covers St. Croix County and the adjacent counties of Barron, Dunn, Pierce and Polk in Wisconsin; and Washington County in Minnesota.
