
The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) provides loans to help businesses keep their workforce employed during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. SBA is currently offering:
As of January 24, 2021, the SBA approved 23,342 PPP loans for $2,251,515,002 in the six New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont during the current round of funding.
Eligible businesses can apply for funding for first and second draw PPP loans through all participating lenders. Here are two ways to find a PPP lender:

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the launch of the 2021 Emerging Leaders initiative for executives of small businesses poised for growth in underserved markets. Emerging Leaders provides free entrepreneurship education and training for executives of small businesses that are potential job creators. This intensive executive entrepreneurship series includes nearly 100 hours of classroom time. This initiative provides participants with the opportunity to work with a network of experienced coaches and mentors, attend specialized workshops, and develop connections with their peers, city leaders, and the financial community. As a result, Emerging Leaders help build sustainable businesses that promote economic development within their communities.
