SBA Updates on Economic Aid Act Implementation

t's been a very busy 2021 already for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).  Here are a few highlights that are being worked on to implement the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act, signed into law on Dec. 27, 2020.

  • As of last week, PPP is open to all participating lenders. If you are seeking a lender, you can find one on this PPP Lender Lookup Map or via Lender Match.
  • You can find PPP materials in multiple languages here.
  • A webinar providing high-level information about the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant is on SBA’s YouTube channel at We have also added general information to our website here and will update it as more specifics are determined.

We remain focused on ensuring that the economic aid out gets out as quickly as possible to those eligible small businesses and other organizations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
