SBA Updates on Economic Aid Act Implementation

It's been a very busy 2021 already for the SBA.  Here are a few highlights on the work we are doing to implement the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act, signed into law on Dec. 27, 2020.

  • As of this week, PPP is open to all participating lenders. If you are seeking a lender, they can find one on this PPP Lender Lookup Map or via Lender Match.
  • You can find PPP materialsin multiple languages here.
  • A webinar providing high-level information about the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant is on SBA’s YouTube channel at We have also added general information to our website here and will update it as more specifics are determined.
  • The SBA will contact those eligible for the Targeted EIDL Advance. No action is needed from those who believe they might be potential recipients.

We remain focused on ensuring that the economic aid out gets out as quickly as possible to those eligible small businesses and other organizations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
