Join the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Kansas City District Office (KCDO) and Mid-Continent Public Library for free sessions on starting, growing, and financing your business, November 10-12, 2020.  

DAY 1:  Let’s Get Started: Entrepreneurship for Veterans - Tuesday, November 10, Noon-2:00 pm

Let’s ask some pros! We have a panel packed with Veteran Business Owners who had all of the same startup questions you do. They will share their personal stories, obstacles, and share wisdom they’ve learned along the way. The panelists include Pat Montgomery of KC Cattle Company and Jannae Gammage of The Market Base, Inc.  After the panel, SCORE instructor Kimberly Beer will take you through a fun and hands-on exercise, customized to your specific business, to make sure your concept is profitable! DAY 2:  Let’s Level Up: Growing your Business for Veterans - Wednesday, November 11, Noon-2:00 pm

Once you have a business, how do you grow it to make it even more successful? Ask our panelists! This group of local, Veteran Business Owners will share their growing pains with you and share how they overcame obstacles to get the most out of their business. Panelists include Patrice Manuel of P/Strada, Marcus Flores of Power2 XYZ, and Anthony Coffey of Faithful Property Brothers. Afterward, join Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) counselor Jill Hathaway for the tips and tricks you need to help your business grow. DAY 3:  Access the Funding You Need to Succeed - Thursday, November 12, Noon-2:00 pm

Join our team of financial expert panelists who can answer those questions for you. They will help guide you to what the best type of funding is for you while discussing different types of traditional and untraditional funding as well as special loans just for Veteran Business Owners.
