SBA Offers Virtual "SWAG" Networking Opportunity for Women in Clinton on August 5th via Microsoft Teams

Women networking

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering a free networking opportunity for women entrepreneurs in Clinton.

The SBA, in cooperation with the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting a virtual session of its SWAG (Stellar Women Achieving Greatness)  networking opportunity for women entrepreneurs on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.  SWAG offers women who are in business, or who are thinking about starting a business, the opportunity to meet, connect with and provide mutual support to each other. Attendees will give a short elevator pitch and then share thoughts, ideas and suggestions with the rest of the group with the goal of making connections with others who have faced, or may be experiencing, similar issues in starting and growing a woman-owned small business in Iowa.

Please contact Maureen Miller, President/CEO at the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce at (563) 559-2194 or at mmiller@clintonia.com to register and receive the Microsoft Teams link for the event.

For more information, contact Jo Eckert at (319) 362-6535 (office), (319) 450-2027 (cell) or at jo.eckert@sba.gov.
