Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy and the foundation of our communities. As we continue weathering Covid-19, SBA remains absolutely focused on providing ongoing support to our nation’s small businesses.

Through the second round of funding made available by SBA’s Payment Protection Program (PPP), over $500 billion in loans have been dispersed to thousands of businesses, saving millions of jobs and supporting nearly every industry.

More funds are available, too. Nearly $130 billion remains to fund new PPP loans. Providing swift assistance for America’s small businesses would not have been possible without the thousands of lenders, credit unions, and community development organizations who worked hand in hand with SBA throughout this process.

There is still time for small businesses to take advantage of this historic program. For additional resources and a list of lenders participating in the Paycheck Protection Program, visit www.sba.gov/PPP

GO HERE FOR THE LATEST PPP NUMBERS AS OF MAY 16, 2020
