The SBA is celebrating National Veterans Small Business Week from Nov. 4-8, 2019.

On November 7, 2019, Chris Pilkerton, Acting Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and advocate for the nation’s 30 million small businesses as a member of President Trump’s Cabinet, will be presenting the keynote luncheon address at the Business Beyond the Battlefield Conference in Arlington, Texas at noon.  

The National Veterans Small Business Week Business Beyond the Battlefield Conference (BBBC19) brings together military spouse and veteran entrepreneurs, small business owners, subject matter experts and a myriad of entrepreneurial resources to increase awareness, facilitate access and inspire action focused on growing the economy and improving lives through military connected business ownership.

The conference includes:

  • Small Business Expo on the plaza supporting veteran-owned and military spouse-owned businesses
  • Up to 33 hours of customized training content for all phases of business development, including a complimentary Boots to Business Reboot
  • Access to U.S. Small Business Administration staff and resource partners, including access to capital partners...and much, much more.

Veteran-owned small businesses are a critical pillar of the U.S. economy as they contribute more than $1 trillion and employ over 6 million workers.
