Contracting Opportunities for Veterans

August is government contracting month for veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran owned small businesses.

Success Story: Universal Spartan, LLC

Picture of Alejandro Ramirez

Alejandro Ramirez retired from the U.S. Army and started Universal Spartan, LLC. The company provides a one-stop federal government product sourcing solutions for tactical, IT, electrical and medical equipment and is a service-disabled veteran owned small business.

the Small Business Development Center, an SBA resource partner, for assistance. They helped him develop a business plan and financial projections, then connected him to the U.S. Export Assistance Center.
