Business Opportunity Specialist Susan Lourie and Public Affairs Specialist Norm Eng participated in a regional economic development community convening hosted by SCORE South Eastern MA Chapter Chair Rod Clark and Maureen Geary, Economic Development Director of City of Quincy.  The tombs of two U.S. Presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams are located at a national historical attraction at the newly renovated Quincy Center.

District Director Bob Nelson took part in an interview with Danielle McFadden, President of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce on her cable access television show.  Earlier in the day, Nelson signed a Strategic Alliance Memorandum with the chamber for brand expansion and to raise awareness about programs and services north of Boston.

New England Regional Administrator Wendell Davis and District Director Bob Nelson visited the MA & New England Exporter of the Year, Optim LLC and the MA Small Business Person of the Year, Swati Elavia, President of Monsoon Kitchens yesterday for a meet and greet.  Wendell and Bob were joined by Julia Dvorko of the MA Export Center who nominated Grace Preston, Director of International Sales for Optim and CEO Doug Hughes was there and provided a tour of the operations;  Later in the day, the team at Leader Bank hosted our visit with Swati Elavia, who is an SBA lending client of Leader Bank.  Sushil Tuli, President of Leader Bank nominated the business
