Enjoy gorgeous, rocky coastline; taste from Portland’s awarded food scene; and listen, learn, and connect with insightful people in the startup and entrepreneurial community. This year, the cost to attend has been made more affordable, and there is some pretty awesome content in just three days: Thursday June 21st, to Saturday June 23rd. We understand what time and money mean to fast-moving businesses, and promise that the inspiration, insight, and connections you’ll gain from the conference will be well worth the investment.

A ticket to Startup Maine is $48. This all-access pass includes entry to all programming events, including core sessions, workshops, mixpos, and keynotes, as well as some evening and affiliated events. Scholarships and volunteer positions are available, email volunteer@startupmaine.org.

Startup Maine takes place in downtown Portland, Maine, less than 100 miles north of Boston. Daytime events will take place at Maine College of Art (MECA), 522 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101. Social events and affiliate events take place throughout the city.


Boots to Business - 2 Day Entrepreneurial Training

When: July 17th and 18th, 2018, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Boots to Business is a two-step training program developed to introduce all Veterans and transitioning service members to business ownership. This 2-day workshop helps ensure that every participant has access to a standardized entrepreneurship training track and the small business resources in their local communities.  Any veteran, spouse and/or dependent children over 18 are welcome to participate!

After completing the 2-day Boots to Business session, participants will have the tools and knowledge they need to identify a business opportunity, draft a business plan, connect with local small business resources, and launch their small business.  If you have any questions, please contact William Card at William.card@sba.gov or 207-622-8555
