The SBA is proud to support the LGBT business community.

In addition to contributing to the diverse landscape that makes your neighborhood unique, LGBT-owned businesses make an important impact on the U.S. economy.

According to a recent report by the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC):

  • On average, the typical LGBT-owned business has been in business for more than 12 years
  • LGBT-owned businesses contribute more than $1.7 trillion to the U.S. economy
  • LGBT-owned businesses have created more than 33,000 jobs

This Pride Month, the SBA highlights resources which aim to support the LGBT business community.

The LGBT inclusion and outreach team aims to bring focus on economic empowerment in the LGBT business community providing access to the SBA programs and services.
