In recognition of National Veterans Small Business Week Oct. 30 - Nov. 3, 2017, the SBA Portland District Office is proud to host a special event for our honored veterans.

Join us as we host the MyVetBiz Moments that Matter in Veteran Entrepreneurship resource class. We will highlight various small business resources available to you as a veteran and providing  an opportunity to have your questions heard.  No matter where you are in business -- just starting out or in business for years -- you are going to walk away with an action plan for future growth.

During this event, you will:

- Learn about free counseling and mentor resources
- Get information to compete in the federal procurement marketplace
- Learn how to obtain capital to start and grow your business
- Connect with other veterans and learn about their journey starting a business

The SBA empowers veterans, active duty service members, Guard and Reserve members and military spouses through entrepreneurial training and education programs, business technical assistance counseling, special access to capital programs and federal procurement training and access to opportunities.

When:
Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 – 1:30 to 3 p.m. PDT

Where:
Gus Solomon Federal Courthouse
620 SW Main Street, Portland, OR 97205
