July 19, 2017 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, STARTING A VETERAN-OWNED HOME-BASED BUSINESS - Click link to register, space is limited to 25.

Over 50% of new businesses started today are started in a primary residence.  In this program participants will learn the advantages and disadvantages to a home-based business, legal and insurance implications of having a business at home, as well as strategies for running a successful home-based business.

August 10, 2017 from 8:30 am to 10 am;  Finding the Right Idea - Click link to register, space is limited to 25.

Finding the right idea is an important step to creating a business that lasts.  In this program participants will learn how to take an idea and turn it into a concept, as well as understanding how to research the market and industry they will compete in.

September 14, 2017 from 8:30 am to 10 am;  Creating an Effective Business Plan - Click link to register, space is limited to 25.

The fundamentals of creating a plan to achieve your business goals both tactically and strategically.

This series of workshops will help you start and run a new business or assist you to improve your existing business.  Entrepreneurs who use FREE SCORE mentoring services and SBA programs and services have a higher probability of business success.
