There are more than 20 classes and workshops taking place in Wisconsin May 1-7! For the fourth year, SBA is partnering with Milwaukee Small Business Week on a full slate of activities, including the 31st SBA Awards Breakfast on May 6 (see next article). You can find SBA at the events below: 

May 2:  City of Milwaukee’s Small Business Sustainability Conference, Keynote Address from Rodney Sampson from Shark Tank (SBA financing panel 11 am) Time: 8am - 1:30pm  Cost: FREE REGISTER HERE

May 3: Don’t Take a Job, Make a Job Workshop for Former Offenders Featuring Rodney Sampson from Shark Tank (SBA will showcase its micro-lending) 7:30am - 10:30am  Cost: FREE REGISTER HERE

May 4: Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce 10th Annual Business Awards Luncheon,  Milwaukee. (SBA will be presenting its Minority Small Business Champion award)   REGISTER HERE

May 5:  In the Racine/Kenosha area, FDIC is hosting a workshop on Economic and Community Development Opportunities: Connections within Housing & Small Business, in Sturdevant  8:30 am - 2:00 pm.  more information and registration.
