The
USPTO’s Patent
Quality Chat webinar series continues April 11 from noon - 1 p.m. with a discussion of "Examination
Time Analysis”.
Examination time goals vary by
technology and represent the average amount of time a patent examiner is
expected to spend examining an application. In this webinar our speakers
will present the use of examination time goals in our production
system and answer any questions you may have, via patentquality@uspto.gov.
Please join the chat and share your thoughts regarding
quality, pendency, and cost for services. As part of the USPTO’s
continuous quality improvement efforts, we
will use your feedback to help ensure examination time goals accurately
reflect the amount of time needed by patent examiners to conduct quality examination
in a manner that responds to your interests.
