Added Security Measures Protect Pension Information

Security Measures

An unprecedented department-wide security risk assessment within Office of Benefits Administration has consolidated several overlapping security efforts in the last two years. This had led to greater efficiency and security for sensitive pension information for security experts.

The assessment began in 2014 when government security breaches were on the rise, and the chief of what was then the Benefits Administration and Payments Department wanted to understand the security risks across all their systems.
