New England RHEC (Region I) Report Sets Baseline on Health Disparities in Region, Highlights the Plight of Disabled Population by Dr. Charles Drum

This report, which documents the prevalence of health disparities experienced by adult racial and ethnic minorities and adults with disabilities, provides a regional and state-by-state snapshot of health inequities.

HIV/AIDS Among Black Women and Girls: Understanding the Context of Their Lives to Provide Effective Interventions by Dr. Ivy Turnbull

The National Black Women’s HIV/AIDS Network is a coalition of HIV + and - black women and girls who came together to provide a voice and representation for black women with HIV/AIDS. Learn about their recommendations to health officials and leadership in local, state and federal government to address this public health crisis.

  • National Science Foundation (NSF): Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP). Assists universities and colleges in their efforts to increase the numbers of students matriculating into and completing degree programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines in order to diversify the STEM workforce.
