- The ship will begin multibeam sonar acquisition on OPR-F324- FH-23 Approaches to Wilmington, NC.
THOMAS JEFFERSON
OPR-K371-TJ-23 Approaches to Galveston, TX
Recap
- NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson got underway from Galveston, TX on 01MAY2023 and began conducting survey operations on OPR-K371-TJ-23, acquiring on sheets H13703, H13705, and H13707.
- The ship pulled into port on 05MAY2023.

Thomas Jefferson will get underway from Galveston, TX on 08MAY2023 and begin conducting survey operations on OPR-K371-TJ-23, acquiring on sheet H13705 with the ship and H13703 with the launch (weather dependent).
Fairweather
OPR-O392-FA-23 Approaches to Revillagigedo, AK
Recap:
- NOAA Ship Fairweather conducted launch hydro operations on sheet H13774. Only 3 launch boats were running due to mechanical issues.

- NOAA Ship Fairweather will continue acquisition on OPR-O392-FA-23 Approaches to Revillagigedo, AK on sheets H13774 and H13775.
- The ship will then transit to Juneau for a scheduled inport.

- NOAA Ship Rainier worked on H13731 and H13732, while conducting dive operations around Howland and Baker Islands Islands.

H13768 and H13769, and was down on 01MAY2023 with a partial day of collection on 02MAY2023 due to weather.

R/V Taku conducted crosslines, bottom sampling, and mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13770 and H13771, performed a patch test on 03MAY2023, and had weather days on 01MAY2023 and 02MAY2023.

R/V Substantial arrived back to its homeport. The vessel is now offsite and completed its known efforts for the project.

R/V Benthos was down for weather on 30APR2023 and 01MAY2023 and some minor mechanical downtime on 04MAY2023. R/V Benthos collected SSS/SBES and SBES in H13763.

R/V Chinook was down for weather on 30APR2023 and 01MAY2023 and some partial downtime for weather on 02MAY2023 and 04MAY2023. R/V Chinook collected SSS/SBES, SBES, and infill in H13762 and H13764. R/V Chinook also collected SSS/MBES infill in H13755 and H13758.

R/V 4‐Points was down on 01MAY2023 for weather. Resumed SBES survey in H13763.
- Data processing of SSS, MBES, and SBES has continued through the reporting period. The office continues to ingest survey data and focus on QC review, documentation and fill/recovery plans.

- The office will continue ingestion and processing of SSS, MBES, and SBES data. This week's sheet-wide reviews will focus on SSS/MBES for H13755, H13758, and H13760 and continuing to refine fill and investigation plans. SBES and SSS/SBES reviews will
continue to develop fill and recovery plans.
