OPR-E351-KR-22 Southwest Chesapeake Rivers

Recap

  • On 19MAR2023 there was no survey for any vessels due to weather.
  • R/V 505 conducted mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13766 on 20MAR2023, 22MAR2023, a partial day on 23MAR2023 due to Naval testing and
    weather, 24MAR2023, 25MAR2023, and mainscheme in H13767 on 21MAR2023.
  • R/V Endeavor conducted mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13767 on 20MAR2023 - 24MAR2023 and no survey on 25MAR2023 due to mechanical issues to its starboard engine.
  • R/V Pulse conducted mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13766 on 20MAR2023 - 24MAR2023 and mainscheme in both H13766 and H13767 on 25MAR2023.
  • R/V Spectrum conducted a patch test and mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13766 on 20MAR2023, mainscheme in H13766 and crosslines in H13767 on 21MAR2023, mainscheme in H13766 on 22MAR2023 and 24MAR2023, and mainscheme in H13767 on 23MAR2023 and 25MAR2023
  • R/V Taku conducted mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13766 on
    20MAR2023, mainscheme in H13767 on 21MAR2023, and mainscheme in H13766 on 22MAR2023 - 25MAR2023 with a partial day on 23MAR2023 due to weather.
  • R/V Voxel conducted mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13767 on 20MAR2023 - 24MAR2023, with a partial day on 23MAR2023 due to weather, and no survey on 25MAR2023 due to weather and vessel maintenance.

Looking Forward

  • All vessels anticipate to conduct mainscheme MBES and SSS data acquisition in H13766 and H13767, dependent on weather.
  • Mid-week R/V 505 and Endeavor plan to transit to H13765 to conduct bottom samples and fill. Mid-week R/V Voxel plans to transit to H13771 to conduct mainscheme data acquisition.
  • Office staff will continue processing and reporting.
